Pre- & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training with Susannah White and Sarah Alice

This training is for those who feel drawn to support women through pregnancy and the postnatal period, who want to teach with confidence, clarity, and care, or who are already teaching and sense the need for a deeper, more considered approach. The Pre- & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training is designed to meet you where you are — whether you are newly curious, already teaching, or ready to specialise in perinatal yoga — offering space to develop the understanding and discernment required to teach safely and with integrity. You don’t need to know everything, but you do need to understand the responsibility.

About the Training

This Pre- & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training is led by Susannah White and Sarah Alice Lee, alongside experienced guest educators, and taking place at Yara Yoga this Autumn.

Rooted in alignment-based, pelvic-health-informed yoga, this training bridges traditional yogic practice with modern anatomy and perinatal science. You’ll learn not only what to teach — but whyhow, and when — across pregnancy and the postnatal period.

This training will:

  • Build confidence in teaching pregnancy and postnatal yoga safely

  • Deepen your understanding of the changing body before and after birth

  • Move you beyond fear-based cueing and rigid rules

  • Equip you to offer adaptable, responsive, and supportive classes

This is not about scripts or formulas.
It’s about discernment, presence, and trust.
