Come join us for a boutique luxury yoga retreat in stunning Umbria, Italy. Designed to bring our bodies and minds back into balance using the healing practices of yin and restorative yoga, meditation, pranayama and delicious organic food grown locally to nourish the body and soul.

Known as the Green Heart of Italy, just on the boarders of Tuscany, Umbria is the perfect location for reconnecting to nature and yourself. Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and smooth rolling hills, you can immerse yourself with rich bio diversity and embrace the delights of the season.
Rich in cultural history, spiritual heritage, Hamlets full of art, walks and treks, there is plenty to keep yourself busy or if you prefer just sit by the the salt water pool and read.
The retreat is being held in a beautiful Lodge that was originally built as a ‘Casale’ (a traditional Umbrian house) and dates back to 1800. Made entirely form local stone, it is happily situated at 330mts in the Umbrian hills. You will love the peace and tranquility.

Life goes at a fast pace and this is the perfect opportunity to take some essential space to slow down and prioritise your self care.
We are here to create an inspiring space for those needing to recharge, de-stress, heal and find equilibrium in the body. It’s also perfect for those wanting to take some time out to explore the wonders of Italy. This retreat is all about slowing down, being mindful and enjoying the benefits of being immersed in nature. A chance to cleanse the body of toxins, learn about nutrition, and find new depths in your yoga practice.
We believe that life is about balance. They say you can’t pour from an empty cup so, this retreat is yours to do what you need to reconnect to yourself and refill your cup. Along with two blissful yoga classes a day, you will have free time to explore, read, swim and embrace the local culture. Yes, this is a chance to detox but we are also in the one of the best wine growing regions in the World so a wonderful vineyard wine tasting tour is available. This is your yoga holiday - so do as much or as little as you like.

Taste the delights of Italian plant based cuisine. We use only the finest locally grown produce that either comes from the Lodges garden or neighbouring farms. All organic, we follow the Seasons and cook with love.
Our Gourmet Vegan recipes are created to re-energise, nourish and heal the body. We carefully select anti stress ingredients to encourage rest, recovery and balance to the body; enabling you to head home recharged and rejuvenated.
Meals are served on the outdoor patio, surrounded by nature. If the weather is not perfect, we can eat in the beautiful stone wall room inside.
There are eight bespoke eco-chic rooms, made to inspire guests, that match comfort with creativity.

About the teacher:
Sarah is a teacher whose passion lies within the healing power of yoga. As a competitive gymnast in her youth, Sarah always understood that movement was integral to maintaining a healthy body and mind but it was her own journey with yoga whilst trying to navigate the after effects of the Christchurch Earthquakes in New Zealand, when she came to realise just how important that connection is. Yin Yoga at this time was the only thing that was able to calm her over stimulated nervous system and it lead to a fascination on how stress and trauma (such as enduring thousands of aftershocks) effected the body on a cellular level and why yoga was so effective at bringing the body back into balance. So inspired by the positive benefits she had experienced in health as a result of her yoga practice, Sarah trained to become a teacher and has never looked back. In 2016 she moved back to the U.K after a decade living abroad and now shares her time between the yoga studio and photography studio. When she is not teaching, Sarah specialises in capturing the yoga community. Photography tutorials and photo shoots are available upon request whilst on your retreat.
Slow Vinyasa Flow: This is a very gentle vinyasa class designed to gently ignite the body in the morning. Glorious stretches, mindful movement and breathwork all done to music that will set you up for the day.
Yin: A slow-paced style of modern yoga,Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. It helps us to regulate the body's flow of energy. We carry trauma and emotion in our bodies and Yin is a restorative way of release the issues in the tissues. You will feel rested and rejuvenated after each practice.
Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique. Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health. The perfect way to end the day.
This retreat is appropriate for all levels. Whether you are just starting on your yoga journey or an experienced practitioner.

The closest airport is Perugia “San Francesco d’Assisi”.
Ryanair flights run everyday (apart from Saturdays) from London Stansted at 7.30am
The flight from to Perugia to London on Tuesdays departs at 1.30pm.
It is a 35 minute drive to the Lodge from the airport.
We have arranged transfers as part of your package price.
Other easily accessible airports:
Florence airport is 1 hour and 50 minute drive.
Rome Ciampino airport is 2 hours.
We can organise a private taxi or minivan/minibus at an extra fee to pick you up at these airports too.
